“I started seeing Dr Xu for joint pain. I play tennis a few times a week and was in a lot of pain after playing. What was your medical condition before you started treatment with Dr. Xu:
Diagnosis with adult onset diabetes in 2004, 2nd pacemaker, implantation 2003 and chronic arthritis, pain in upper and lower extremities as well as the spine with additional medical diagnosis of fibromyalgia. The unbearable pain in both shoulders created the irrability to raise arms to wash my hair, to dress or to bear any weight with upper extremities. Also the stabbing, piercing pain in my wrist and fingers and shoulders prevented functional activities such as grasping, writing, eating, turning a knob. Pain was relieved only by pain meds. Arthritis meds were un-acceptable to relieve pain due to the 8th/2004 internal bleed out/duodenal ulcers which caused a declined in activities such as walking, bathing, all bed mobility and required physical therapy/ rehabilitation to regain simple activities of daily living.
Medications taken when treatment began by Dr. Xu:
Darvocet every 4 hours, heart medication, anxiety meds, auto immune medication.
What is your current medical condition:
Controlled adult-onset diabetes, controlled heart disease in reference to atrial fibrillation and electric heart rhythm, moderate arthritic symptoms in all joints yet minimal to no limitations w bed mobility, walking, bathing, dressing, eating etc. There is only occasional stabbing pain in movements of upper extremities extreme end range or done too fast. No pain meds are taken including Tylenol.
Results of Dr. Xu treatments:
Range of motion is within normal limits at all joints and 90% movement is without pain as long as it is done slowly. I can resume daily activities such as light cooking, cleaning, carrying in groceries, get up from the floor unassisted, slowly ascended and descended a flight of stairs and most joyously . About 3 years ago, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and 9 years ago, I was diagnosed with gallbladder stones.

I was on prescription like Celebrex, Biox, Zolof as well as bottles of extra strength Tylenol. My pain and swelling seemed to have a mind of its own. Even changes in the weather would trigger redness and swelling. Before I started using herbs and acupuncture I felt like I was given a life sentence to pain and disability.
What is your current medical condition:
I was noting less swelling and pain within first 2 months and after 3 months most of my pain was gone. Occasionally I have what I call ghost symptoms, but by eating better foods and drink my herbal tea I can say acupuncture and herbs are a natural cure for me.

This month I was regular Dr. Office because I want to check up. He told me: “You don’t have any more gallbladder stones any your rheumatoid arthritis is under control”.
